About Kevin He
Kevin He is a Chinese-Canadian professional ice hockey player and forward prospect for the Winnipeg Jets. Born in Beijing in 2006, He moved to Canada at age six and developed through the North York Rangers program before joining the OHL’s Niagara IceDogs. In 2024, he made history as the highest-drafted Chinese-born player in NHL history when the Jets selected him 109th overall, later signing a three-year entry-level contract that December. Known for his relentless motor, speed, and physical play, He captained the IceDogs in the 2024–25 season, tallying 75 points in 62 games. His rise marks a significant milestone in the NHL’s growing global diversity.
