About Kimmie Meissner
Kimmie Meissner is a world-class figure skater and former World Champion, Four Continents Champion and U.S. National Champion. At the time she held her championship titles she was the first lady to hold all three titles at the same time. At the 2006 Winter Olympic games she competed as the youngest competitor at the games at age 17 and finished 6th overall in the ladies singles competition. In 2004 she burst on to the figure skating scene by capturing a silver medal at the World Junior Championships at age 15, and went on to capture the World Championship in 2006 and Four Continents Championship in 2007. Upon winning the 2007 U.S. National Championship she signed endorsement deals with Subway, Under Armour and Visa, and became one of the most recognizable faces in the world. In 2014 Meissner served as a figure skating researcher for NBC Sports at the Winter Olympic Games in Sochi, Russia. She is also a valuable spokesperson for the Cool Kids Campaign, which serves to help children with cancer.
