About Kyle O'Quinn
Kyle O’Quinn is a Queens, New York native who has found success on and off the court in the NBA. O'Quinn played for the Philadelphia 76ers, Indiana Pacers, and his hometown New York Knicks after starting his career with the Orlando Magic.
O'Quinn joined the Magic as a 2nd round pick in 2012 after starring at Norfolk State from 2008 to 2012. During O’Quinn’s days at Norfolk State he earned MEAC Defensive Player of the Year honors in consecutive years in 2011 and 2012 and won the MEAC Player of the Year Award in 2012. In 2012, he was also presented the Lou Henson Award, which is given to the top mid-major player in the country.
