Lance Kendricks is a professional football player who plays tight end for the St. Louis Rams of the NFL. While in high school, Kendricks played football, basketball, and track and field. In football, Kendricks was a two-time all-city selection, the Generals most valuable player as a junior and senior and as a senior he was team captain. Kendricks attended college at the University of Wisconsin where he played for their football team from 2007 to 2010. He was also a part of the Badgers’ track and field team as a freshman. As a senior, Kendricks was a finalist for the John Mackey Award, he received first-team All-Big Ten honors, and was recognized as a consensus first-team All-American. Prior to the Draft, Kendricks was considered one of the top tight end prospects in the country. The St. Louis Rams selected Kendricks 47th overall in the 2011 NFL Draft. On July 28, 2011, Kendricks signed a four-year $4.23 million contract with the Rams.
