Landon Cassill

Landon Cassill is a stock car racing driver who currently competes in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Cassill began racing in a quad at three years old and he soon moved to go-karts. At the age of 10, Cassill finished second in the Pro Kart Tour at the Atlanta Motor Speedway. In 2000, Cassill competed in three different classes, winning all three state championships on the same night. While in high school, Cassill was racing in the ASA Late Model Series and at 16 years old, he became the youngest winner in ASALMS history when he won at the Lake Erie Speedway. Cassill was introduced to NASCAR in 2006 through the GM Racing Development Competition. That same year, Hendrick Motorsports signed Cassill in December. Cassill announced in February 2012, that he would drive for Front Row Motorsports in the 2012 Daytona 500. During the 2014 Cup season, Cassill tied his career-best finish of 12th at the Daytona 500 and he recorded his best career finish of 4th at the Geico 500.
