Larry Miller

Larry Miller is an American sports executive. After graduating from La Salle University in 1982 with an MBA, Miller served as President, Executive Vice President, and Controller for Jantzen, Inc. He was also a manager for Kraft Foods, an Assistant Controller at Philadelphia Newspapers, Inc. and he held various positions with Campbell Soup Company. Nike, Inc. hired Miller in 1977 where he served as Vice President and General Manager of Nike Basketball. Miller was responsible for managing day-to-day operations of Jordan Brand, Nike Basketball and Converse. Miller held the position as the President of Jordan Brand from 1999-2006. Miller became the President of the Portland Trail Blazers in 2007. Under Miller the team has recorded three consecutive trips to the postseason. Miller resigned as the Trail Blazers president on July 7, 2012. Two days later it was announced that Miller would rejoin Nike as the President of the Jordan Brand.
