About Leonard Fournette
Leonard Fournette is a running back for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Fournette was signed by Tampa Bay prior to the 2020 season after posting two 1,000-yard rushing seasons in three years with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was originally the fourth overall pick of the 2017 NFL Draft by the Jaguars. He was one of the most dominant players in college football during his time at LSU. Fournette had two 1,000-yard seasons during his three years in Baton Rouge. As a sophomore, he ran for 1,953 yards and 22 touchdowns. Both totals were LSU single-season records. He was a consensus All-American and a first-team All-Southeastern Conference pick. While only playing in seven games as a junior, Fournette still racked up 800 yards and was named to the All-SEC second team. He was raised in New Orleans, Louisiana and played at St. Augustine High School. He was the 2013 USA Today High School Football Offensive Player of the Year and considered the top overall prospect coming out of school by several publications.
