About Le'Ron McClain

Le’Ron McClain is a professional football fullback who is currently a free agent. McClain accepted an athletic scholarship from the University of Alabama where he played football from 2003 to 2006. During the 2007 NFL Draft, McClain was considered one of the best fullbacks available. The Baltimore Ravens selected McClain in the fourth round as the 137th pick in the Draft. McClain signed with the Ravens on July 27, 2007 and he scored his first career touchdown on November 25, 2007. McClain became the Raven’s primary running back during the 2008 season. His season performance earned him a Pro Bowl selection. The Ravens released him because he publicly complained about not getting enough touches. On August 3, 2011, McClain signed a one-year deal with the Kansas City Chiefs. After only spending a season with the Chiefs, McClain signed a three-year deal with the San Diego Chargers on March 14, 2012. He was then released by the Chargers on March 3, 2014.
