About Lucas Glover
Lucas Glover was the 2009 U.S. Open champion and a golfer on the PGA Tour. In that 2009 season, Glover rose to a career high of ninth on the money list. He picked up his first career victory at the 2005 FUNAI Classic and also won at the 2011 Wells Fargo Championship. Twice he has represented Team USA on winning President’s Cup teams. Glover turned pro out of Clemson in 2001 and joined the Nationwide Tour. He was a two-time first-team All-American for the Tigers. Glover played on the winning 2001 Palmer Cup team and also was a three-time champion at the South Carolina Amateur. He is from Greenville, South Carolina and went to Wade Hampton High School, where he was a three-time All-American. Glover won a state championship his freshman and sophomore years, while finishing as the runner-up his junior and senior seasons.
