About Marc-Andre Fleury
Marc-Andre Fleury was one of the best goaltenders of his generation, playing a significant role for both the Vegas Golden Knights and Pittsburgh Penguins. The Golden Knights selected him with the top overall pick of the 2017 NHL Expansion Draft.
Fleury is one of the most beloved players in Pittsburgh Penguins history. The Penguins selected him with the top overall pick of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. Fleury won Stanley Cups with Pittsburgh in 2009, 2016 and 2017. He was named to the NHL All-Star team in 2011 and 2015.
Fleury first rose to hockey stardom with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League. In 2003, he won the Mike Bossy Trophy as the league's top prospect and Telus Cup as the top defender.
Internationally, Fleury won two silver medals as part of Team Canada at the World Junior Championships in 2003 and 2004. He was also part of the Canadian squad that won a gold medal at the 2010 Olympics.
