About Marc Turnesa
Marc Turnesa is a professional golfer that has won on the PGA and Web.com Tours. His victory on the PGA Tour came at 2008 Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospital for Children Open. His win at the 2007 Miccosukee Championship and top 25 finish on the formerly named Nationwide Tour money list got him his PGA Tour card. Since 2010, Turnesa has experienced a slew of injuries that has slowed his golf career. He comes from a famous golf family. His grandfather, Mike, had six other brothers and five of them joined him on the PGA Tour at some point in time. One of Turnesa’s great-uncles won the 1952 PGA Championship while another one notched 15 victories on the PGA Tour. The only brother that did not turn pro won two U.S. Amateurs and a British Amateur. Turnesa played collegiately at NC State and originally turned pro in 2002. He lives in Jupiter, Florida.
