About Mark Price
Mark Price is a former NBA player and current NBA coach. Originating from Oklahoma, Price left the state to attend Georgia Tech in 1982, where he played four impressive seasons for the Yellow Jackets and became a two-time All American, four-time All ACC, and was named the ACC Most Valuable Player while retiring his jersey number. He was selected by the Dallas Mavericks in the second round of the 1986 NBA Draft and proceeded to play point guard for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Washington Bullets, Golden State Warriors, and Orlando Magic throughout his twelve seasons in the NBA. Commencing his playing days in 1988, Price decided to pursue coaching for the remainder of his career as he went on to impact many high school, college, and even professional teams with his guidance and wisdom. Price’s most current coaching position resides with the Charlotte Bobcats under head coach Steve Clifford.
