About Mark Snyder
Mark Snyder is a football coach from South Point, Ohio. Snyder most recently coached for the Texas A&M Aggies as the defensive coordinator. Prior to his time with the Aggies, Snyder had an experienced coaching history as well as a playing history. The Ohio native was a graduate of Marshall University in West Virginia, where he played safety for the second half of his college career and led the Southern Conference with 10 interceptions in 1987. The impressive record still stands as the Marshall and Southern Conference single-season record. Following college, Snyder kicked off his coaching career as a student assistant coach for the Herd and left to join the coaching staff for the UCF Knights for two seasons. Snyder has since spent five years with Youngstown State, four with the University of Minnesota, three with Ohio State, four with his alma mater, one with South Florida, and two with the Texas A&M Aggies. All this experience has left Snyder wise beyond his years.
