About Markieff Morris
Markieff Morris is a valuable contributor for the Dallas Mavericks. Morris had his breakthrough in 2013-14 while with the Phoenix Suns, averaging 13.8 points and six rebounds a game. The Suns also had their best season in years and he received consideration for Most Improved and the Sixth Man of the Year Award. In his second season, Morris was joined by his twin brother Marcus in Phoenix. The Suns originally drafted him 13th overall in the 2011 NBA Draft. Morris teamed with his brother at the University of Kansas. As a junior, he was a second-team All-Big 12 pick.The Morris twins are natives of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
