About Markus Wheaton
Markus Wheaton is a wide receiver for the Pittsburgh Steelers and a top option in the passing game for quarterback Ben Roethlisberger. Wheaton has steadily improved since being a third round pick of the Steelers in the 2013 NFL Draft. In 2015, he caught 44 passes for 749 yards and five touchdowns. After playing sparingly as a rookie, Wheaton put in a strong second-year campaign in 2014. That season he made 53 catches for 644 yards. Wheaton played college football at Oregon State. He saw action in all four seasons with the Beavers. As a senior, he went for over 1,000 yards and was a first-team All-Pac 12 selection.
