About Martin Truex Jr.
Martin Truex, Jr., a racecar driver, was born in Trenton, New Jersey, in 1980 to former racecar driver Martin Truex, Sr., whom was best known for clinching the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East title. With athleticism running through their blood, Martin’s younger brother, Ryan, is also a holder of this championship title. Truex, Jr. began racing in 2000 in the Busch North Series and also clinched the same title as his father and brother in both 2004 and 2005. In addition, Truex, Jr. was named the 2004 and 2005 Busch Series Most Popular Driver. Truex has been competing in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series for over eleven years, throughout which he was competed in over 333 races. Truex also competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series for more than ten years and the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series for two. The thrill he gets behind the wheel is one unlike no other as he will continue to represent car number 78 and make his family and friends proud.
