About Matt Klentak
Matt Klentak is the general manager of the Philadelphia Phillies. He was hired in 2015. Klentak previously served as the Los Angeles Angels assistant general manager. He originally began his career as a baseball operations staffer with the Colorado Rockies. Klentak then joined Major League Baseball's labor relations department for four years. He later served as the director of baseball operations for the Baltimore Orioles. Klentak was a team captain for the baseball team at Dartmouth University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in economics.
