About Maureen Manley
Maureen Manley was once at the height of her sport as a world-class cyclist. Manley was a national champion and silver medalist at the World Championships. She was eyeing the 1992 Olympics and competing in the Tour de France when the unexpected happened. Manley experienced blurred vision during the race, which eventually was ruled a result of multiple sclerosis. Despite that tremendous setback, she persevered and found a new purpose in life. Manley founded the MS Wellness Center at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle. She has become a top motivational speaker, helping people in their own recoveries and sharing a roadmap for how to succeed in the face of challenges.
