About Michael Strahan
Not many people can say they have achieved the highest level of success in two different professions like Michael Strahan. First a Hall of Fame football player, Strahan has gone onto a successful mainstream-broadcasting career as the co-host of Live! With Kelly and Michael. He is also currently an analyst on Fox NFL Sunday. The seven-time Pro Bowler was a menace to quarterbacks and led the league in sacks twice. In 2001, he set the NFL record with 22.5 sacks in a season and won Defensive Player of the Year. His 141.5 sacks rank fifth in NFL history and tops all-time among New York Giants players. Strahan spent his entire 15-year career with the Giants and capped things off with his first championship in Super Bowl XLII. The Giants originally selected him out of Texas Southern in the second round of the 1993 NFL Draft. Strahan molded himself into a pro, earning Division I-AA Defensive Player of the Year honors in 1992. His charisma and tremendous career achievements still make him one of the most well-recognized football personalities today.
