About Mike Evans
Mike Evans joined the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a first round pick in 2014 after a standout career at Texas A&M University. While playing wide receiver for the Aggies he earned Freshman All-SEC honors in 2012 and First Team All-SEC and Consensus All-American honors in 2013. During his freshman season he caught 82 passes for 1,105 yards and five touchdowns, and topped that performance during his sophomore season when he caught 69 passes for 1,394 yards and 12 touchdowns. After an impressive NFL Combine the Bucs selected him with the No. 7 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, making him one of the faces of their franchise. During his first season with the Buccaneers he caught 68 passes for 1,051 yards and 12 touchdowns, making him one of the top young wide receiver talents in the National Football League. With speed and athleticism, he has a bright future and will likely become one of the elite wide outs in the league.
