Mike Timlin

Mike Timlin is a former professional relief pitcher for six different MLB teams. Timlin played for the Toronto Blue Jays from 1991-97. During his time with the Blue Jays, Timlin assisted in the final out of the 1992 World Series in game 6. He also played for the Seattle Mariners, Baltimore Orioles, St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies and the Boston Red Sox. In the 2003 postseason, Timlin did not allow a run. During the 2004 season, Timlin made 76 pitching appearances, which became the third most in Red Sox history. After his first three seasons with the Red Sox, Timlin experienced injuries in both his right shoulder and left oblique in 2006 and 2007. In 2007, Timlin became the only active player to have played on four non-New York Yankees championship teams. He won the World Series in 1992, 1993, 2004, and 2007. On April 19, 2009, Timlin was honored by the Red Sox and threw out the ceremonial first pitch.
