Neil Callaway

Neil Callaway is the offensive line coach at Western Kentucky University. Prior to coaching, Callaway attended the University of Alabama where he played football from 1974-77 as a guard, tackle, defensive end, nose guard, and linebacker. Callaway’s coaching career began at East Carolina University and then he transferred to the University of Wyoming. He then coached as the offensive lines coordinator at Auburn University from 1981-1992. During his time at Auburn, the team won 4 Southeastern Conference titles and Callaway coached 4 All-Americans. Callaway became the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator at the University of Houston in 1993 where he remained for three years. In 1997, Callaway returned to the University of Alabama where he spent three years as the offensive line coach and the offensive coordinator. Callaway coached at the University of Georgia from 2001-06 as an offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. He helped the Bulldogs win three SEC titles and two conference championships in six years. In January 2007, Callaway became the head coach at UAB.
