Nick O'Hern

Nick O’Hern is an Australian professional golfer. O’Hern took up golfing at nine years old and he plays left-handed. He turned professional in 1994 and in 1998 he was successful at the European Tour qualifying school at his first attempt. O’Hern played regularly on the European Tour from 1999 through 2007. He does not have a win on the European Tour, but he does have seven second place finishes. O’Hern began to play regularly in the United States in 2005, but he was not a member of the PGA Tour. He reached the top 20 of the Official World Golf Rankings and received invitations and sponsorships for the PGA Tour events. It was not until 2006 that O’Hern became a member of the PGA Tour. In 2006, he won the Australian PGA Championship. He has won five tournaments in Australia. O’Hern’s 2010 season ended early when he had to have knee surgery. O’Hern has never won a PGA Tour.
