About Padraig Harrington
Padraig Harrington is an Irish professional golfer. He currently plays on the European Tour as well as thePGA Tour. Harringtonturned pro in 1995, winning the Peugeot Spanish Open that same year. After a fewwinless years, Harrington would findthe winning touch in 2000, and would go on to win 14 events onthe European Tour over his career. Harrington signed onto the PGA Tour in 2005, and would breakthrough in 2007 with a victory at The Open Championship, his first major championship. 2008 wasarguably his best season, as he won both The Open Championship and the PGA Championship, all whilefinishing tied for fifthat the Masters. This phenomenal year led to Harrington being named PGA Playerof the Year. Although he has not won anymajor championships since 2008, Harrington has enjoyedgreat success over the years, winning five PGA tour events, along with multiple victories in other toursaround the world.
