About Paige Bueckers
Paige Bueckers is the next great player to come out of the UConn women's basketball program. Bueckers became the first freshman to ever win a national player of the year award, taking home all four that she was eligible for. In the process, she helped lead the Huskies to the 2021 Final Four. Bueckers set the program record for freshman assists. Some of her other accolades included being named Big East Player of the Year, a first-team All-American and the Most Outstanding Player of the BIg East Tournament. At the end of the season, Bueckers won the ESPY Award for best women's sports college athlete and devoted her acceptance speech to racial injustice.
