About Pat Forde
Pat Forde is one of the most respected sports writers in the country. Forde primarily covers college sports and has done so for the last six years at Yahoo Sports. He got his first chance to write on a national stage for ESPN in 2004. In addition to contributing to ESPN.com and ESPN the Magazine, Forde became a familiar presence on the media conglomerate's television and radio platforms. His "Forde Yard Dash" and "Forde Minutes" columns also became popular. Forde began his journalism career at The Louisville Courier-Journal in 1987. He started out as a beat reporter and served as a columnist for 12 years. Forde co-authored the 2008book, Rebound Rules: The Art of Success 2.0, with Rick Pitino. He is a graduate of the University of Missouri.
