About Pat Leahy
Pat Leahy is a former NFL kicker, playing his entire 18 year career with the New York Jets. In college, Leahy was a part of the Saint Louis University soccer team, a team that won three national championships. After he graduated, Leahy signed with the New York Jets, immediately becoming their field goal specialist. Over his 18 year career, Leahy scored a then Jets record 1,470 points, while scoring over 100 points in seven different seasons. He also had a 71.4% field goal percentage, and a 95.5% extra point percentage, making him one of the most accurate kickers in Jets history. He currently ranks 20th on the NFL’s all-time scoring list. After his retirement in 1991, Leahy would go on to live in St. Louis with his wife and three children.
