About Patrice Bergeron
Patrice Bergeron was an NHL center who spent his entire 19-year career with the Boston Bruins. In 2003, Bergeron wasselected by the Bruins in the NHL draft after playing for multiple smaller leagues in Canada. In his rookieseasons, Bergeron played in 71 games, scoring 39 points. In the 2005 season, Bergeron scored 31 goals,leading the Bruins in scoring, becoming the Bruins' star player and centerpiece to their rebuilding effort.Bergeron would run into knee injuries in 2007, slowing him down until his full recovery. Bergeron was akey factor toward the Bruins’ Stanley Cup Championship in 2011, leading the way offensively. Alongwith being an NHL star, Bergeron also won two Olympic gold medals with Team Canada.
