About Patrick Chung
Patrick Chung was a vital part of the New England Patriots defense in the 2010 decade.He won three Super Bowls in the Patriots and was voted to their All-Decade team at safety. After onlystarting one game his rookie season, Chung became the Patriots starting safety in 2010, finishing with 96tackles and three interceptions. Chung developed into a defensive mainstay for the Patriots, becomingone of their most consistent players until he left in 2013 to sign withthe Philadelphia Eagles. Chungwould spend one season with the Eagles until being released in March of 2014, then returning to thePatriots less than a month later.
Prior to his NFL career, Chung played at the University of Oregon, earning many honors including All-Conferenceand third-team All-American honors. Chung currently holds the record at Oregon for mostgames started for a defensive player with 51 straight games. Chung graduated from Oregon and enteredthe NFL Draft in 2009, being selected by the New England Patriots in the second round.
