About Patty Mills
Patty Mills left an amazing legacy during his ten seasons with the San Antonio Spurs. Mills became one of the NBA's top three-point shooters and won a championship in 2014. He originally moved to the United States from Australia in 2006 to play collegebasketball for Saint Mary’s College of California. Mills would become the leading scorer for St. Mary’s, leading them tomultiple conference titles and becoming nationally ranked for the first time since 1989. In 2009, He entered the NBA Draft, eventually being drafted in the second round by the Portland Trailblazers. During theNBA lockout, Mills would playinternationally in Australia and China, until eventually returning to the United States to play for the SanAntonio Spurs in 2012. Mills currently plays for the Oklahoma City Thunder. He has also been a respected member of the Australian National Team and was the flag bearer for the 2021 Olympics.
