About Pete Weber
Pete Weber is one of the most successful bowlers in the modern era and known for his rebellious attitude. Weber has won 37 times on the PBA Tour and has a record ten majors. Just two other bowlers have won more events. In 1998, Weber was inducted into the PBA Hall of Fame. Just six competitors have won the career PBA Triple Crown, which includes wins at the U.S. Open, PBA World Championship, and the Tournament of Champions. At 49 and 50 years of age, Weber became the oldest man to win the U.S. Open and Tournament of Champions respectively. He ranks second all-time with over $3.5 million in career earnings. Weber also currently bowls on the PBA50 Tour. His father, Dick, was a founding member of the PGA and one of the greatest bowlers of all-time as well. The Missouri native had his career examined in the documentary, “A League of Ordinary Gentleman”.
