About Peter Forsberg
Peter Forsberg was one of the more electric players of his era. The Hockey Hall of Famer was a seven-time All-Star and won two Stanley Cups with the Colorado Avalanche. Following the 2002-03 season where Forsberg led the league with 116 points, he was awarded the Hart Memorial Trophy as the NHL MVP. Forsberg was identified throughout his career by winning. In addition to his two Stanley Cups, he also has two World Championship and Olympic gold medals with Sweden. Forsberg was a hit upon immediately entering the NHL, winning the Calder Memorial Trophy in 1995. He battled through persistent injuries to become one of the most efficient scorers of all-time. Prior to coming to the U.S., Forsberg spent several seasons playing for Modo Hockey in Sweden. He also played for them towards the end of his career and now serves as the team’s general manager. Forsberg also owns several businesses in Sweden.
