About Phil Jackson
Phil Jackson, is widely considered to be the greatest NBA coach of all-time. As a head coach Jackson led the Chicago Bulls to six NBA Championships and the Los Angeles Lakers to five more, adding to the two championships he won as a player. Yeah, that’s right, 13 championship rings. It’s an impressive resume, and one that landed him a consensus spot in the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2007. Outside of basketball Jackson is also a best selling author, publishing several books over the years about his coaching philosophies and strategies, including the book Sacred Hoops which discusses the native American spiritual practices that he utilized during his coaching career.Jackson’s career accomplishments as a coach are second to none, which is a testament to the man he is both on and off the court.
