About Reese Hoffa
After lettering in football, wrestling, basketball, and track & field in high school, there was no doubt that Reese Hoffa had athletic talent and could use those skills professionally. He has become a shot putter in numerous national and international competitions. Reese won the 2006 World Indoor Track and Field Championship as well as the 2007 World Outdoor Championships. Those competition victories helped to propel Hoffa to the 2012 Summer Olympics in London where he came away with the bronze medal. His personal bests stand at greater than 22 meters both outdoor and indoors and he is one of just a handful of athletes to throw the shot put for over 21 meters in competition more than 100 times. Not only is Reese excellent with the shot put, but he has also become known as a speedcuber, or person that can solve a Rubiks Cube in just 30 seconds.
