About Reggie Sanders
Reggie Sanders had a successful 17-year career in Major League Baseball. The Cincinnati Reds originally selected him in the seventh round of the 1987 MLB Draft. He made his major league debut with the Reds in 1991 and spent his first eight years with the franchise. In 1995, he made the National League All-Star team. Sanders finished the year sixth in NL Most Valuable Player voting after hitting .306 with 28 home runs, 99 RBI and 36 stolen bases. Following the 1998 season, he would play for six other franchises. Sanders hit a career-high 33 home runs in 2001 and helped the Arizona Diamondbacks win the World Series. He finished his career as a member of the 300 home run, 300 stolen base club.
