About Rob Dyrdek
While Rob Dyrdek is known best for his skill as a skateboarder, he is also an actor, entrepreneur, reality star, and producer. As a part of the reality series Rob & Big, Dyrdek set twenty one separate Guinness World Records for skateboarding, including the longest 50-50 rail grind, the longest board slide, and the highest skateboard ramp jump into water. Dyrdek was one time sponsored by DC Shoes and during that time he began to explore entrepreneurship. It was at that time he began to design his own line of shoes and followed that up by launching other companies, including a hip hop label and a skate shop. With all of the success he has had in his career, Dyrdek decided to start giving back in 2003 when he created the Rob Dyrdek Foundation which is focused on building legal skate parks for skateboarders to use in their local communities.
