About Rob Mendez
Rob Mendez's story is simply incredible. He was born with tetra-amelia syndrome, which prevented his limbs to develop when he was an embryo. Despite living his entire life without arms and legs, he became a high school football coach. He spent 12 years as an assistant at five different high schools and was hired as the head JV coach at Prospect High School in California in April 2018. Mendez went 8-2 in his first season. His story has been profiled by ESPN, USA Today and numerous other outlets.
