About Robbie McEwen
Robbie McEwen was considering the fastest sprinter in the world in road cycling during the pinnacle of his career. McEwen won three Tour de France points classifications and 12 individual race stages. He also was a champion BMX racer in Australia before turning to road cycling when he was 18. McEwen competed professionally from 1996-2012. He now serves as a commentator for the Tour de France and the Tour Down Under. McEwen is a member of the Sport Australia Hall of Fame and the Cycling Australia Hall of Fame.
