About Robert Saleh
Robert Saleh made history with the New York Jets as the first Arab-American head coach in NFL history. Saleh worked his way up in the coaching ranks, highlighted by four seasons as the defensive coordinator of the San Francisco 49ers. He also had assistant coaching roles with the Houston Texans, Seattle Seahawks and Jacksonville Jaguars. Saleh got his start as a college coach, working with Michigan State, Central Michigan and Georgia before jumping to the NFL in 2005. Saleh came to coaching with a playing background as a former all-conference pick at Northern Michigan.
