About Robert Smith
Robert Smith is a retired professional football player, who played his whole career with the Minnesota Vikings of the National Football League. Smith attended Euclid High School, where he became the first player to win Ohio's Mr. Football Award on two occasions. Also, in 1989 Smith became a USA Today High School All-American. Robert went on to play college football with the Ohio State Buckeyes where he helped lead his team to success while he continued to improve his own individual skills. After college Smith entered the 1993 NFL Draft where he was selected by the Vikings in the first round as the 21st overall pick. Robert Smith went on to become a two time Pro-Bowl selection, a second-team All-Pro in 2000 as well as a First-team All-NFC selection, and the NFL Alumni Running Back of the Year in 2000. Smith finished his career with an impressive total of 32 touchdowns and 6,818 rushing yards.
