About Robin Lopez
Robin Lopez is an NBA veteran, currently with the Milwaukee Bucks. Lopez played basketball at Stanford University where he became a member of the Pac 10 All-Defensive Team in 2008, his last season in college. Lopez entered the 2008 NBA Draft where he was picked by the Phoenix Suns in the first round, 15th overall. Lopez made his NBA debut with the Suns, getting his first start on November 7, 2008, where he scored 14 points and got 7 rebounds. In the year of 2012 Lopez was acquired by the New Orleans Hornets where he only spent one season before being traded to the Portland Trail Blazers in July of 2013. While his efforts on the court are what he is known for, his efforts in the "Read Big" literacy campaign that Lopez put on with the Portland public, he was awarded the Maurice Lucas Award in March of 2014.
