About Robinson Cano
Robinson Cano is one of the top second basemen of his era. Cano had the fortune of signing with the New York Yankees out of the Dominican Republic in 2001 and eventually got called up to the big leagues in 2005. Overall, he made five All-Star trips in nine seasons with the Yankees. Cano also won five Silver Slugger Awards and two Gold Gloves in pinstripes. In 2009, he hit .320 during the regular season and helped New York win the World Series. Cano signed with the Seattle Mariners in 2014 and went on to make three more All-Star teams. He was with the New York Mets from 2019-2022 before joining the San Diego Padres during the 2022 season. Cano also starred on the international stage, winning tournament MVP honors and helping the Dominican Republic win the 2011 World Baseball Classic.
