About Rod Gilmore
Rod Gilmore has worked as a college football analyst for ESPN since 1996. Gilmore is a regular commentator on a game each Saturday and also appears on shows like College Football Live, Outside the Lines and SportsCenter. Before coming to ESPN, he worked on regional Pac-10 coverage in California. Gilmore had prior experience in the conference as a three-year starter at defensive back at Stanford. He also played baseball for the Cardinal. Following his college football career, he obtained a law degree from the University of California. Gilmore currently works with the Palo Alto-based firm, Doty, Barlow, Britt & Thieman.
