Roger Curtis

Roger Curtis has spent 22 years working as an administrator in the field of motorsports. After beginning as a nuclear engineer at Purdue University, Curtis transferred to Indiana State University where he graduated with a marketing degree. Entering the motorsports field in 1991, he owned his motorsport marketing and communications company before entering into track administration. Curtis first went to Watkins Glen International where he served as Director of Marketing and Sales. He then went to Richmond International Raceway where he served as senior director in the same role as before. As one of the most experienced administrators in the field, Curtis was a VP for Sales and Marketing at California Speedway before accepting the position of President of Michigan International Speedway. Curtis has helped transform MIS into a year-round attraction, bringing in events such as Tough Mudder and music festivals.
