About Roger Federer
Roger Federer is regarded as one of the best, if not the best, male tennis players of all time. The Swiss native began his professional career in 1998 after ending his junior career as No. 1 in the world and has ever since compiled one of the most dominant tennis careers of all time. In 2002, Federer entered the ATP Top 10 for the first time. He has set several records in the Open Era such as career singles Grand Slam Titles (20), reaching each Grand Slam title at least 5 times, 12 Wimbledon Finals appearances, and holding the world No. 1 ranking the longest at a total of 310 weeks. In ATP tournaments, Federer won 103 singles titles, which ranks second all-time. He also has a Gold Medal from the 2008 Olympic Games and a Silver from 2012. Federer officially retired from the sport in 2022.
