About Ron Pitts

Ron Pitts was an American football cornerback that played for the University of California, Los Angeles. After a four year career with the Bruins, he declared for the NFL Draft in 1985 where he was drafted by the Buffalo Bills. Pitts played 3 seasons with the Bills and then another 3 with the Packers, appearing in 66 games throughout his career. After retiring with 7 interceptions on his resume, he began a career in broadcasting. Pitt joined the Fox Sports crew as a play-by-play announcer for NFL on Fox. He held this role for 18 years until 2012 and also took on other roles such as co-host of Under the Helmet, Total Access, and Hardcore Football. In 2014 he joined CBS Sports Network to cover a limited number of games as a play-by-play analyst.
