About Russell Henley
Russell Henley grew up playing golf on the greens across Georgia which explains why he found such success as a collegiate golfer at the University of Georgia. While at Georgia, Henley won the 2010 Haskins Award as the top collegiate golfer of the year and he also competed in the 2010 U.S. Open where he shared the title of Low Amateur. Henley played in several Nationwide Tour events as an amateur, winning the 2011 Stadion Classic, making him the 2nd amateur to win on the Tour. In 2013, Henley again was a part of history when he became the first rookie to win his debut professional tournament in 12 years with a tournament record 24-under par at the 2013 Sony Open. In 2014, Henley won a 4-man playoff at the Honda Classic for his second PGA Tour victory in as many years, leaping him into the Top-50 of the Official World Golf Rankings.
