Ryan Burr

Ryan Burr is most famously recognized for his reputable insight as a sports television journalist. Growing up in Pittsburgh, Burr had always dreamt of becoming a journalist. He attended Syracuse University and graduated in 1994 with a degree in Broadcast Journalism. After college, Burr commenced his career in the field contributing his buoyant personality as a television play-by-play announcer, studio host and radio personality for numerous media outlets. Working out of Florida early on in his career, Burr later relocated to New York, where he became the recipient of a local AP Broadcaster-of-the-Year award. He finally achieved his dream job as a studio host for ESPN for several years, hosting NASCAR Now and working on SportsCenter covering college football and basketball. Currently, Burr mostly focuses on covering college golf and basketball for the NBC Sports Network. He has also just released his first novel, a promising read entitled “The Fix” in 2014.
