Ryan Moore

Ryan Moore, a professional golfer most recently known for his success on the PGA Tour, is a highly successful and widely admired athlete. Moore originated from Tacoma, Washington and attended a high school so small that it did not even have a golf team. Luckily, he was allowed to compete for a nearby school and even competed at the 2000 U.S. Junior Championships. Accepting an athletic scholarship to the University of Nevada Las Vegas, Moore finished his senior season with what was widely considered to be one of the most impressive seasons in amateur golf. Becoming a recipient of several national amateur awards and the NCAA individual championship, it was not surprising that Haskins Award, signifying the most outstanding collegiate golfer in the nation, was granted to Moore in 2005. He turned professional that same year and while he has competed on numerous tours, he has achieved his most success while competing on the PGA Tour. To date, Moore has four professional wins on the PGA Tour and is only expected to amass more. He also has obtained the longest streak of top-10 finishes in golf history.
