About Ryan Murphy
Ryan Murphy is one of the top swimmers in the world today. Murphy had his coming out party at the 2016 Olympics. He won gold medals in the 100 m backstroke, 200 m backstroke and 4x100 m medley relay. On the opening leg of the 4x100 medley relay, Murphy set a new 100 m backstroke record. He has also won four World Championship medals. Prior to turning pro in 2017, he had one of the most storied college career at the University of California. Murphy was a four-time NCAA champion in the 100 and 200-meter backstroke. He was a three-time Pac-12 Swimmer of the Year. Murphy was born in Chicago, Illinois but attended the prestigious Bolles School in Jacksonville, Florida.
